Lead Like Jesus!

Day 84
March 25

Leading like Jesus is more than an effort to adopt a certain discrete set of behavioral principles, attitudes and thought processes. It is a challenging journey in daily surrender of your motivations to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It means laying pride and fears on the altar and letting them be transformed.

Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. Do… Continue

Getting started!

Hi gentleman, my name is Bob Boynton. I have been married for almost 27 years to my wonderful Sharon. We have 3 great kids - Kristy Lyn (23), Jonathan Scott (21) and Kyle (14).

I was raised all over the USA and overseas. My dad was in the Air Force and spent time in Vietnam. We settled in New Hampshire when he was in South East Asia near his father and an uncle. Men Of Grace...We Need Your Help!

Brothers,

I pray this note finds you thriving in Christ. There is a team of men serving at Grace that provide a life-line service to a special segment of our faith family. The guys who serve on the Valet Parking Team each weekend make it possible for a number of our elderly, physically impaired and single moms with small kids to continue to make Grace their church home. It’s that necessary. When we opened our doors in November of 2007, we instantly realized that the two massive parking lots wer… Continue

RANDOM THOUGHTS

Hi all, sorry I have not been on in a while. I do not have any insightful wisdom, other than, never give up on God. Never be afraid to ask him for help. Never think you are to lost or broken for the Lord to help. We are all broken in some way. Do not give up on yourself, because God never gives up on any of us, no matter how lost we are. Never give up on those you love either. Continue to pray, and pray and pray. Even when you feel nothing is happening, something is. I received an email some tim… Continue

Random Thoughts on the Financial Bailout.

Nobody likes to think about extinction. Or death. Or companies failing. Scary, right? But here's the part that doesn't get touched on enough: Horse & buggies got replaced by cars. What if horse & buggy manufacturers had gotten bailed out? Oil lamps gave way to electricity. What if lamp makers had been well-heeled & able to squash this new wired technology? (burn, baby, burn?) (soot, baby, soot?)The fact is, when something (unfortunately) goes away, it often (happily) gets replaced by… Continue

Update from Will...

Last November, I stopped working and asked God to please open a door that would allow me to serve Him on the "front lines" in full-time ministry.

Approx 2 months passed.

Then, a few weeks ago...I was offered a full-time ministry position w/a Salvation Army church (called a "corps") in Oil City, Pa.

Here's a recent quote from an article by our own Larry Shallenberger about Oil City:
